When installing in a high place Be sure to install a safety net.
There is a risk of injury due to falling due to deterioration of urethane foam.
(1) Place the high buffer on a sufficiently rigid base.
(2) Pass the attached bolt through the net connector and insert it from the plate side.
(3) Put the safety net over the high buffer and tie it tightly to the net connector hole.
(1) Install so that the impact is received vertically on the flat surface of the urethane foam.
(2) The impact surface of the impact object should be free of edges, etc., so as not to damage the urethane foam.
(3) The impact surface of the impact object should be at least 2.2 times larger than the cross-sectional area of the urethane foam.
(4) Install so that the head of the mounting bolt faces the urethane foam side.
(5) Securely tie the safety net using the attached net connector.
(1) After the second year of use, check every six months.
(2) The inspection procedure is to use a slotted screwdriver (blade width approx. 6mm, blade thickness approx. 0.8mm) and press it against the side of the body with a standard load of 20N.
(3) If the screwdriver is pressed against the standard load and pierces the body, replace it immediately.
Urethane foam deteriorates due to water vapor, ozone, and ultraviolet rays in the air.
Also, at high temperatures, deterioration progresses faster. Be careful not only during use but also during long-term storage.
(1) Avoid direct sunlight when using outdoors.
(2) Cannot be used in environments with compounds such as acids, alkalis, or organic solvents, or in hot and humid environments.
(3) The ambient temperature should be -20°C to 60°C. Protect from radiant heat with a heat insulating plate.
(4) Estimated product life is 3 years indoors and 2 years outdoors.
If the usage environment is good, it can be used for a longer period of time, but please check it every six months.
(1) Although the allowable deflection rate is 75%, please select a deflection rate of 60% or less for non-emergency collisions.
Also, if the collision frequency is high (more than 10 times a day), the deflection rate should be 50% or less.
(2) When installing on both sides, use urethane foam with the same diameter, and select so that the total height of opposing urethane foam is 1.8 times or less than the diameter. Also, do not place it facing the KRB type.
