Low vertical spring constant and high horizontal spring constant suppress horizontal shaking

Performance/Features

・Since it is a compact double-sided bolt type, it is easy to install and does not take up much space.
・By utilizing the shearing properties of rubber, the spring constant in the vertical direction is smaller than that of Anti-vibration rubber of the same size, and a low eigenvalue can be obtained.
・The spring constant in the horizontal direction is large, suppressing vibration in the horizontal direction.
・Black paint is used for the surface treatment of the metal fittings, providing excellent rust prevention.

Precautions for use

Construction example

Figure 1: Example of independent vibration and sound insulation wall structure
Figure 2: Details of the dotted red frame in Figure 1

When a single wall has a vibration and sound insulation structure, the construction base shown in Fig. 1 can be considered as an example of construction.
In order to create a vibration and sound insulation structure, the load of the members consisting of C-channels, runners, and studs is supported by Anti-vibration rubber against the RC frame.
We use "vibration-proof rubber for floating wall" as a vibration damper for the constituent members.

Handling method

Selection example

When using it as a steady rest for a component, calculate the load applied in the horizontal direction,
Consider the product number and number so that the horizontal (X direction) allowable load value of the anti-vibration rubber for floating wall x 2 (= short-term allowable load) or less.

Also, the calculation of the vertical natural frequency is based on the assumption that the anti-vibration rubber for the floating wall does not support the load in the vertical direction.
Generally, it is considered to calculate from the spring constant of Anti-vibration rubber that supports the load on the floor side.
Horizontal natural frequencies are not generally considered as they are not subject to gypsum board loading.
